Overview
Local Brand is a multi seller fashion marketplace for Egypt. Shoppers browse local brands on the mobile app. Sellers publish products from the web dashboard. Admins govern catalog, discovery, coupons, and orders. I built the TypeScript Express and Prisma API that powers all three surfaces: taxonomy driven catalog, product options and combinations, cart and coupons, Paymob card payments and COD, order lifecycle, and the admin and seller APIs behind the live dashboard.
02
What I Did
- 01Modeled a fixed catalog of audiences, departments, and 75 subcategories with attributes, size schemes, and explore themes
- 02Built product creation with option dimensions, valid color and size combinations, image galleries, sale flags, and Premium discovery placement
- 03Implemented cart, wishlist, coupon validation, and checkout with Cash on Delivery or Paymob card payments via initiate, webhook, and status polling
- 04Designed the order lifecycle from Confirmed through In Route to Delivered, with customer cancel while confirmed and seller scoped order views
- 05Delivered admin APIs for overview analytics, brands, products, customers, sellers, categories, coupons, banners, Explorer config, and revenue
- 06Shipped seller invite flow, brand profiles, Egypt city and area geo, JWT access and refresh auth, Zod validation, and bilingual EN and AR API messages
03
Collaboration & Process
- Customer mobile app consumes this API and is not live on the stores yet
- Admin and seller dashboard is live at localbrands-lb.cloud
